What this service is

PaywallCompass is an independent comparison site. We publish prices that newsletter, course, membership and community platforms advertise on their own pricing pages and explain the plan shapes behind them. We are not a party to anything you agree with a vendor. We make no statement about what you will earn on any platform: creator income depends on your audience and your product, and a vendor's own revenue examples are theirs, not ours.

How we are paid

Vendors may pay us a commission when you sign up through a link on this site. That commission never changes the order of the table: ranking is by published entry plan, computed from the verified figures, and a vendor cannot buy a position. Affiliate links are disclosed and carry rel=sponsored.

About the price index

Every figure in the index is quoted verbatim from the vendor's own published pricing page, with the date it was retrieved and a hash of the page text at that moment. Entry prices are the lowest paid plan per month as the page prints it; where a page prints only the annual-billing figure the cell says so. The platform cut is the vendor's own percentage of creator sales on that plan, and excludes card processing. A vendor whose pricing page could not be read is recorded as such rather than estimated.

No warranty

The index reports what vendors published on the dates shown. Prices change and promotions expire, so check the linked source page before you sign up. Nothing on this site is a promise of income.
